दिवाळी, जाती जाती भाव जागते झाले,
कोण जाणे कोठून, हे माझ्या दरावरती आले।।

चंद्राची कोर न जाणो कुठं लपली,
भाऊबीजेच्या सणात आता लोभ आणि अहं भावाने जागा घेतली ।।

मान , अपमान सरता न सरले
अभिमानाच्या ओढा ताणीत आसमंत ही हळहळले ।।

नव्हता जेव्हा पैसा , नव्हता जेव्हा हाव,
होता तिथे तेव्हा , सहज प्रेमाचा भाव ।।

शब्दांवाचून जाणवणारा तो मायेचा प्रत्येक क्षण,
सरले असावेत का त्याचे मग सारेच कण ।।

एकत्र येण्याची होती जिथे एक अनोखी ओढ,
जणू स्पर्धा जागती झाली आता,
उत्तर कोण देईल सडेतोड ।।

नोकरी , धंदा , पगार , पाणी ,
एकत्र आलो की चर्चा फक्त होतात,
काळजी असते एकच का तेव्हा,
कोणाच्या हाती किती आणि कसली नाणी ।।

मानापमानातला आनंद झाला आहे इतका अपार,
दिसेना कधी त्याला नात्यांची रेशमी तार ।।

रेशमाची ही तार, इथेच मग तुटते,
नात्यांचे बंध अलगद उकलते।।

येणाऱ्या दिवाळी मग सरतील का नात्यांवाचून,
पैसा, अहंकार, स्वार्थ, मत्सर इत्यादी जिंकतील का प्रेमापासून ।।।।
